Dining at Tibetan Peace Restaurant was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt a sense of calm and warmth — soft lighting, Tibetan art on the walls, and gentle traditional music created a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The food was outstanding. The steamed momos were some of the best I’ve ever had — tender dough, perfectly seasoned filling, and a spicy dipping sauce that brought everything together beautifully. The thukpa, a comforting noodle soup, was rich and flavorful, ideal for a cozy meal on a cool evening. I also loved the butter tea, which was smooth and uniquely satisfying. What really makes this place special is the hospitality. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to share their culture and cuisine. Absolutely loved my first experience with Tibetan cuisine! This place is fantastic! It effortlessly captures the essence of Tibet in Sydney, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. As for the food… I can’t recommend it enough! My favorites were definitely the Yellow Laping, Chowmein, and the Mango Lassi. I will definitely be coming back!

Me and my friend visited Tibetan Peace Restaurant today and absolutely loved the experience. We had beef thenthuk, chicken momo, and laphing . All cooked to perfection. The flavors were so authentic, they instantly took me back to my hometown . My friend enjoyed it just as much, and I even took away chicken momo for my husband. He loved it so much that he is willing to visit as well The service was warm and friendly, and the food came out quickly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely one of those places you want to keep coming back to. I’ll be returning soon for more delicious food! Highly recommended.

Delicious, but it tastes a bit different from what I had in Tibet. This Tibetan noodle is so similar to mie goreng, haha. The handmade noodles are cute—square and chunky. The beef is a bit dry and chewy, but maybe Tibetans prefer this texture, since I’ve tried yak meat before and it’s really tough. The lassi is tasty~ The guy working here is super nice too.

This is the most authentic Tibetan food I have us ina long long time. Conveniently located near dee why on the main road we were surprised by the warm hospitality and amazing quality of food. We tried the chicken momo, chicken chowmein and chilly chicken. Accompanied by the most amazing lassi we have ever had. We will certainly go back.
